Christians experience life in two dimensions; we are first born into the physical, natural world and then by God’s grace and through faith, we are born-again into the spiritual. We therefore have this dual physical/spiritual life which we are called to navigate.
For the majority of us, our daily focus is on dealing with the physical challenges of life which include caring for our family, work and business commitments, physical safety and financial security. So compelling are these “cares of this world”, that they often preoccupy our thoughts and direct our actions.
In addressing this issue, Jesus acknowledged that “what we shall eat, what we shall drink and how we shall be clothed” (Matt 6:31), are legitimate concerns that we all have, but challenged us to “seek first” God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and God will take care of our needs.
But what does that mean? How does that work in today's fast paced world?
The purpose of my blog is to try to answer these questions by providing “Kingdom Perspectives” on everyday life, work and business.
My interest in this topic first developed through my connection with Christian business groups where terms like “advancing the Kingdom in the Marketplace” "Kingdom business" and “conducting Kingdom Commerce” are used frequently.
I believe that God does have a Kingdom plan for Christian entrepreneurs that enables us to successfully conduct business in this high-pressure (and sometimes corrupt) environment, and at the same time, achieve a greater purpose, or a "high calling." Much of my content will focus on this.
So, here are the post topics I have covered so far:
Have you lost your sense of purpose?
The reality of the Kingdom and the battle to save the world
The challenges facing Christian entrepreneurs
Why Christian businesses are so important to God’s Kingdom
What is the “Kingdom of God’ and where is it located?

In my next posts I plan to cover the following topics:
